Wisent SMD30 core drilling machines (also called magnetic or cutter drills) are designed to drill large holes in steel with a relatively small drilling machine. What used to require a column drill, there is now a Wisent core drill. Due to its portability, the machine can be taken to the material to be drilled rather then bringing the heavy material to a fixed column drilling machine.
